Pagi tadi pengen banget makan gorengan, setelah sekian lama nga makan gorengan. Akhirnya ku kirim office girl di kantor untuk membeli gorengan di perempatan jalan dekat kantor. Sambil menunggu aku nonton TV, Good Morning Show di TransTv, kebetulan si Oneng lagi ngebahas TEMPE yang akhir- akhir ini menjadi makanan langka, dan yang bikin gw syok kata si Oneng ada seorang pedagang gorengan yang  bunuh diri karena nga sanggup untuk beli bahan – bahan dagangannya, sementara dia harus menghidup satu orang istri dan 4 orang anak. Miris banget dengernya….

 

Memang akhir – akhir ini banyak pabrik tempe- tahu yang gulung tikar gara gara harga kedelai yang melesat di pasaran. Dan dengar – dengar kalaupun mereka bertahan untung yang mereka dapat nga seberapa, sehingga mereka harus merumahkan karyawan mereka. Trus gimana dengan pedagang tempe- tahu di pasar, gimana dengan pedagang gorengan atau pedagang lainnya yang menggunakan bahan kedelai sebagai mata pencaharian mereka. Ini artinya jumlah pengangguran di Indonesia bukannya berkurang, seperti yang dijanjikan para politikus itu, malah bertambah!!!

 

Aneh ya, kedelai yang kita produksi di jual ke Negara- Negara lain sementara untuk kebutuhan kita sendiri kita harus meng-import dari Negara lain.

 

Nga lama kemudian, Yani, OG yang tadi aku kirim untuk beli gorengan kembali “ Mbak, Tempe sama Tahu nga ada, aku udah cari di tempat lain juga nga ada.”.

 

Iseng – iseng telpon mama, “ Ma, tadi ke pasar beli tempe/ tahu nga?”tanyaku. Mama Menjawab, “ Mama udah keliling keliling pasar nga nemu tempe atau tahu. Semua pedagang tempe dan tahu nga ada yang buka. Abis gimana, harga kedelai sekarang gila gilaan!!”

 

Kebayang nga sih, kalo sampai duo tempe – tahu yang adalah makanan legend orang Indonesia ini hilang dari peredaran atau di museumkan. Tempe gitu loh….makanan yang walaupun di anggap makanan kelas bawah tapi di gemari oleh semua kasta.

Last weekend i wanted to cook after stop cooking for so long hehe...simple but tasty thats my theme..anak kos sukanya yang simple simple aja :D

Ini dia resep si sosis asam manis with the touch of Sandra........


Ingredients:

6 buah sosis, dipotong serong
2 buah wortel, potong serong
2 siung bawang putih, iris2
1 buah bawang bombay ukuran sedang, iris
5 buah cabe ijo (kalo ada paprika ), potong serong
5 sdm saus tomat
250 ml air
2 sdm gula pasir
Merica bubuk
Garam
Minyak untuk menumis

Directions:
> Panaskan minyak, tumis bawang putih sampai harum, kemudian masukkan bawang bombay, tumis sampai semua bahan layu.
> Masukkan wortel, tumis sampai setengah matang.
> Masukkan cabe ijo.
> Tambahkan saus tomat, aduk rata
> Masukkan air, didihkan.
> Masukkan sosis, merica halus, gula dan garam, aduk rata.
> Masak sampai matang.
>> Selamat Buka Puasa......3 jam lagi

At last, i could make this brownies by myself...woooohhhoooo....!!!

Ketika browsing resep brownies, yang nongol beraneka ragam resep, dan akhirnya gw pilih 3 yang paling gampang dan gw combine...karena bikinnya tengah hari bolong, jadi nyobainnya musti nunggu bedug...ternyata, yummy yummy asoy!! just like i expected!



Ini resepnya ibu2 ...selamat mencoba.



Ingredients:
6 butir telur
225 gr gula pasir
1/2 sdt emulsifier
1/4 sdt garam
1/2 sdt vanili
125 gr tepung terigu
30 gr coklat bubuk
150 gr Margarine
150 gr Dark Cooking Chocolate (DCC)
75 ml susu kental manis
1 Ons Kacang mede cincang , oseng.
coklat messes secukupnya.

Directions:
> Campur terigu, garam, vanili dan coklat bubuk, ayak, sisihkan.
> Lelehkan DCC + Margarine, Sisihkan.
> Panaskan kukusan.
> Siapkan loyang, kebetulan aku pake ukuran 24. Alasi dasarnya dengan kertas roti, olesi dengan margarine dan taburi tepung.
> Kocok telur dan gula sampai kembang kemudian tambahkan emulsifier, kocok sampai kental.
>Tambahkan campuran terigu, aduk rata.
>Masukkan campuran  DCC leleh , aduk rata.
> Bagi adonan menjadi 3 bagian, 1 bagian tambah dengan susu kental manis.
> Tuang satu bagian adonan tanpa susu kental manis ke dalam loyang, kukus selama 10 menit.
> Taburkan messes coklat lalu Tambahkan satu bagian dengan susu kental manis, taburkan messes lagi ( kalo suka manis )  kukus selama 10 menit.
> Tuang satu bagian terakhir, taburkan kacang mede diatasnya, lalu kukus kembali selama 20 menit. angkat.

This pasta is very delicious....
Nick got this recipe from his friends when he visited them in Italy. I like this pasta very much...and i'm gonna share it with you, hope you like it as much as i do.





INGREDIENT :

Pasta

A handful of Almond (crushed)

Parmesan cheese

15 Cherry tomatoes

2 cloves Garlic

Fresh chilly (sufficiently)

Breadcrumbs

Fresh Basil n Mint leaves

Olive oil


METHOD :


  


    Boil pasta (don’t forget to add a bit of olive oil and salt )







   Cut each of cherry tomatoes into four pieces, put aside.








    

    Crush garlic and  Cut chilly into small pieces.








  

   Cut fresh basil and mint leaves coarsely.












Grate parmesan cheese...my fav!








  

  

   Mix breadcrumbs & crushed almond and heat it on medium fire until they go brown. Put aside.    








    When the pasta is ready, put it on a bowl, add olive oil, cherry tomatoes, garlic, chilly, parmesan cheese, basil and mint leaves, and mix them all together.











Enjoy.....



















After Pasta...lets enjoy sausages....














And now...last but not least wine.......

They're so damn tasty....

On the left is Soft Crab Shell hand roll...absolutely amazing!!!!


On the right is Tuna hand roll....this one is also fantastic!!!

Last weekend, i spent most of my time eating :)).....

On Saturday i went to Millenia and bought some clothes, after that i was starving and went to Happy Day resto in Jalan Juanda, that was my first time there. Nick's friend recommended their burger, so we had a go there. The place was nice, the service was okay, the price was reasonable, one of the best salad bar in Jakarta ( according to Nick), its like eating salad from all over the world in one plate, complete! The drink i had was Mango tango, a mixture of mango and vanilla, wicked! And then our next appetizer was Cheesy Fries..it was cheesy but i found it average. Now, the main course we ordered a plate of seafood platter and Boston Burgerwe didn't realize we ordered that much until the food arrived. The seafood platter was it's not fresh its all frozen, but the burger was not bad. Since Nick and I are cake lovers, we saved some space in our big bellies for a plate of Hot choco melt with ice cream,,Hmmmm...this was the best part over all ( i was too excited and forgot to take the picture )




On Sunday morning i did short exercise to burn the fat i got from Saturday meals. It was okay, until this morning i woke up and felt my stomach hurt, you know that feeling when you just started exercise??...Gosh, i realize how unhealthy i am!!! i stopped exercising a year ago when i was ill and planning to start again.

After the exercised I went to supermarket to get what i need for my Choco Fridge Cake ( http://contemplating.multiply.com/journal/item/95). We had lunch at Japanese resto and i had this Hokian Noodle ( it's wicked!! ) Nick has sukiyaki something, I cant remember! More calories in my big belly...great! Went home and started making the cake...it came up perfectly!



To close the day and to fill up my belly with some more calories ( just like what i need!!), We ate a medium portion of roasted Red Snapper and a plate of Kerang Saos Padang....and of course my Choco Fridge cake heheMANTAP!!!!! Now, i could sleep like a baby....BURPPPPP...( ooppss...excuse moi!! )


TODAY.....I cant stop trying to figure out how to get that J'Lo's butt and six packs without leaving those delightful
food and having those painful exercises How can i help it...i am a food lover!!!!

It’s so darn hot outside….pheeeewww…..!!

Cuaca memang ngaco akhir – akhir ini.

Kebetulan hari ini ultah teman kantorku, jadi seperti biasa…makan makan gratis hehe…TRAKTIRAN!!!

Jam 10 pagi ke Cikini untuk beli Ayam Bakar Metropol yang enak banget itu…tempatnya pas di sebelah bioskop Megaria…( eleh eleh inget masa2 SMA jadinya.. ini bioskop dulunya tempat hang out anak2 ABG, sekarang nga tau deh dikarenakan aku tak ABG lagi…hiks ). Anyway, panasnya minta ampun hari ini……perut keroncongan…ihiks…. tiba di tempat ayam bakar… aroma ayam bakarnya benar2 nga sopan bikin perut tambah laper , lebih nga sopan lagi ketika pelayannya salah anter Es Teler pesanan orang ke meja kita….GGGrrrrrr……Setelah menunggu ayam selesai dibakar…sekarang harus menunggu lagi tiba di kantor supaya bisa makan rame2…tiba di kantor segar rasanya… tanpa basa basi ayam kulahap tanpa sisa…muantappp…it’s finally paid off….Burppppp!!!….btw somaynya juga enak….oh ya and tempe bacemnya…!…Demi Ayam bakar ku rela berpanas panasan tapi nga untuk kedua kalinya....
